Our daily routines are designed to provide children with a balance of consistency, security and flexibility, supporting their wellbeing while allowing opportunities for play, exploration and learning throughout the day. Children are welcomed into a warm and inviting environment where they are encouraged to make choices, build relationships and engage confidently in experiences that reflect their interests.
Throughout the day, children take part in indoor and outdoor experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, independence and collaboration. These may include sensory play, creative arts, construction, dramatic play, literacy and numeracy opportunities, science investigations, cooking experiences, music and movement, gardening and sustainability projects.
Group times are embedded within the routine to support communication, social development and a sense of belonging, through stories, songs, discussions, mindfulness activities and shared learning. Outdoor play gives children the chance to build confidence, coordination and resilience, taking safe risks and connecting with peers through cooperative play.
Meal and rest times are approached as meaningful moments for connection, independence and wellbeing, with educators supporting children to develop self-help skills, healthy habits and respectful social interactions. Our routines remain flexible to meet the needs of individual children and families, recognising that every child learns and develops at their own pace.
