Here at Melbourne City Child Care and Kindergarten we are committed to promoting and teaching sustainable practices. The Junior Infants children have been busy investigating and learning about our worm garden. The worms are fed with kitchen scraps and the fertilizer the worm farm creates will go back into our community garden to help it thrive. By being involved in this process the children are learning about sustainability, recycling and how to respect the environment.
